How high is Mount Toubkal Peak?

Mount Toubkal, also called as Jebel Toubkal, is 4,167 metres High (13,671 feet). It’s in the western High Atlas Mountains of Morocco, south of the city of Marrakech and is the tallest mountain in North Africa.


How dificult and Challenging is Mount Toubkal?

Mount Toubkal  requires no technical climbing all people who are in good physical condition should be able to ascent Mount Toubkal, As long as they are well prepared. But this doesn’t mean it’s an easy trek! small accidents might happen and Toubkal involve difficulties, so wiser to have all the necessary gear.

The first and the most common issue, is altitude sickness.  We highly recommend that you do the ascent in at least two days to get use to the Altitude.

If you decided to climb Mount Toubkal it in two days, bear in mind that the second day will be the longest and also the hardest.


When is the best period to climb Mount Toubkal Summit?

The Ideal time to Hike Mount Toubkal is in the spring time (April or May), Septmber October is also a perfect time.

But for the winter climbing lovers, the best time is December, January and February, also perfect snow conditions for Alpine skiing lovers.
